Appreciating Our Community!

As this year winds down, one season ends, and another begins. I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring support and encouragement that the Akron Black Artist Guild has received.

We've had several volunteers roll up their sleeves and pitch in where needed.  Sharing with others what the Guild is about. Artists wanting to contribute, asking, "How can I help" or "Be part," of this work. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we are truly grateful.

The Akron Black Artist Guild appreciates the organizations for taking time from their schedules to write letters, open up their space, and participate. Your kindness and willingness to help does not go unseen. We are grateful to the caring, patient people who worked alongside us, navigating us through the process to obtain a 501c3 status; many thanks.

The mission of the ABAG is not the result of a single person's effort; it is a collective endeavor that requires the active participation of our community and members. I believe together, we can continue to create spaces for a more prosperous and vibrant arts & culture sector. A thriving community that is innovative, always moving forward, ready to teach and uplift a sector that represents all of us.

For that, we say THANK YOU!
